Where are the shared FXC's?

No problem. It's getting pretty bad with no one creating/sharing fxcs anymore. :(

What we need is a new new contest with huge prizes!

BTW it is possible nowadays to attach *.fxc to your posts on this forum. Does anyone have the previously shared compositions? It would be nice if they were posted on rapidshare or alike as one big file, to get started for newcomers.

How much information and traffic are we talking about because I have few options :
1: the hosting for my web site ( i think it will be good enough for the needs of this forum )
2: i have own server at home ( static IP, Dell Poweredge 2650 2x2.8Ghz 4G ram and SCSI raid 72GB) 50Mbit international connection ..
3: My old VJ mashine P4@2.4ghz @ home currently running my blog.

Maybe we should just make everything new ( i mean have someone to write a new upload/download page ?! ) but keep the old compos there for archive purposes ..

Getting quite off topic* here, but my two cents on this:
Someone, somewhere must have all shared compositions. Maybe I still have them alltogether on some harddrive. The reason that already twice the collection was lost is because it was hosted on private servers. Therefore Rapidshare or alike is a much more secure way to save it for future generations. Just my opinion.

(estimated total size of all vjefs, including resources, will be around 200mb)

*EDIT: no longer offtopic, the original thread has been split.

Size of 200MB is not a problem for my hosting ( i was afraid of few gigabytes )

How about Microsoft Skydrive?
it is free and offer 25GB
Or we can ask SleepyTom about his sharing site ?
